User-Defined Designs

User-Defined designs are used to build a design from an entire candidate set.

Most often, the candidate set is a subset of the internal candidate list.

They are primarily used when the available budget for the experiment is large and it is desirable to fill the factor space up with predefined points.

Candidate sets can be further restricted by applying constraints to the design. This will result in an warning message indicating some of the candidates were excluded.
