Residuals vs Factor

This is a plot of the residuals versus each factor in the design.

It provides a visual check for the variance remaining after the model has been fit.

The goal is to confirm if the variance is stable at different factor settings.

Use it when other diagnostic plot indicate problems with the model to help find problems related to the factor settings.
